I’m Sherrie, a WAHM on a mission. I’m married with 2 adult kids, 50’s, an insomniac, vegan, home business owner, blogger, soapmaker, and anime-lover. The mission? Learning to thrive with chronic pain and health issues.
I’m a plant-based eater, but the family follows its own path. My goal is not to convert the family, but to provide an example of how food can heal the body, mind, spirit, and planet.
I am not a medical professional. I’m someone looking for answers and sharing what I find. Let me help you on your journey. You’re not alone.
For me, heavy meds and surgery are not how I want to cure what ails me, but I will go there if need be. For now, I am doing what I can to heal and that includes eating right, walking, and resistance training. What ails me? A crumbling spine (degenerative dics and bone spurs), arthritis (my spine, hands, feet, and down my left side), Fibromyalgia, tendon issues (both ankles, wrists, and elbows), and Type 2 Diabetes. Sounds fun, eh?
I’m getting healthier and am recognizing what that means when chronic issues try to take over. It’s maddening but doable. You can share with me.

Hi, Victoria. I’m working on it. Massage, aquatic therapy, improving my diet, and regular exercise make a huge difference in how I feel. I hope you find what works for you soon.
